Add this into your grocery run: wildBrine sauerkraut

I am a big Sauerkraut fan. It is so so good for you and your gut. It’s a pretty small add to your diet, but makes a huge difference. I notice if I go even just a week without eating fermented foods, when I come back to them I feel so much better almost instantly. And sauerkraut is my go to (other fermented food options: kimchi, kefir, yogurt).

How do I eat it? Mix it into salads, put it on sandwiches, burgers, etc. I usually don’t eat it plain, but you could! I usually add around two spoonfuls to one meal a day.

The thing about Sauerkraut that you have to be careful about is that it often has sodium benzoate in it (preservative) which kills off the good bacteria - that is not what we want given we are eating it for the good bacteria. So you have to be careful when you’re buying sauerkraut and do a check of the ingredients. Wildbrine sauerkraut is my favorite because it is super clean and pure.
